When I arrived at Calvin for my first year I talked to several engineers that highly recommend going to Germany if I ever was offered the opportunity, and I also enjoy traveling. So, naturally when I heard about the engineering trip that I could participate in I wanted to go immediately.
Traveling with such a large group, 37 students, I hope that throughout this trip we can have safe travels and that we may be able to grow closer together and form friendships that may not have otherwise been made.
I believe that I can contribute to our group by with curiosity and enthusiasm. I pray that we may be able to enjoy a safe trip together and have many new experiences together. Hopefully we can return from this trip having grown in many ways.
