Pics, or it didn’t happen!

That’s what they all say, anyways. So without further ado, here are some pictures of highlights from this trip!

This is me with Mobina, a friend I made at church one Sunday who’s originally from Iran and came to Berlin 2 years ago. She speaks no English, but I was able to communicate with her decently well using my newly established German skills!

During our last week, which we had free to travel literally anywhere in all of Europe, I went to Switzerland for the first few days and hiked Mount Salève (which is actually right across the border into France). We got a bit lost on the way up, but met up with with some fellow hikers who from Luxembourg and found the way up together. We ended up having a great conversation about politics in the US and in Luxembourg as well as what their various jobs were and what life is like in general for us. We took this group picture once we finally reached the top!

A group of us hopped on an U-Bahn (the underground trains) one afternoon and it was craaazy crowded, so we took this cute pic! We used trains and buses to get everywhere throughout the whole 6 weeks and it was so much fun- we got to see a ton of the country and got to have some pretty cool interactions with people!
