This summer program in Germany was absolutely fantastic! I wasn’t sure about going at first, but I’m so glad I did because it was such a great experience.

Pics, or it didn’t happen!
That’s what they all say, anyways. So without further ado, here are some pictures of highlights from this trip!
Holocaust Horrors
Six million. The estimated number of Jews brutally and senselessly murdered during the events of the Holocaust. Six million. A number unbelievably large, impossible to wrap the mind around, and still only an estimate, as the exact number will never be known.
Little Town, It’s a Quiet Village
A curious mixture of old and new buildings and shops clamors for space on a winding street front; ridiculously small paths behind and between buildings provide alternate routes for the more adventurous (or more lost, in our case); wider streets lead to a river filled with boats, some tethered, some carrying cargo, and some crowded with people who wave as they pass; and a town square lies in the center of all, accentuated by an old cathedral in front of which a band is playing lively music, tying everything together and creating a need to dance. Welcome to Bremen.
First Week in Berlin!
Wow, we’ve only been in Berlin for one week! Somehow it feels like much longer than that- I guess we’ve all settled in.
